I didn't dream that such a thing had not yet been invented. I would make it either a stand up model, about the size of a big LCD photo frame. You don't want it too small, people should be able to read it from at least a foot or two a day. I'd give it capablity to display photos as well - so you could have a "today" display, a "notes" mode, a "month" display, or photo slideshow, etc. I'm not sure if the voice recording feature is useful or not, if you have a post-it or notes area, voice might be overkill.
